Rear Wiper

Featured Replies

The rear wiper on my 13 reg 1.6 SE stops in random areas of the back windscreen when used by this I mean rather than returning to the original set sweep position it stops randomly and annoyingly  and very annoyingly any where it likes.  Any one else had this problem?

May it simply be I need a new blade on it or is it something that is going to cost loads to get sorted?

Car is out of warranty

When it stops, do you still hear the motor spinning? If so, the blade arm may be loose on the motor.

Or the return home switch.. Common on mk4 golf

Hear nothing (return home switch??)

My dad had this exact same thing happen on his Yeti and he got a new motor fitted under warranty,so it may be expensive unless you get one from a scrapper.
