Telephone contacts - images

Featured Replies

I have set up my telephone favourites on the system but I gather there is a way of having images on the main display. I would have thought they would be taken from my phone but obviously not. (They appear when I make/receive a call.) Can anyone advise me how I do this please? Searched the manual with no luck.

@MChris What type of phone? If it's an iPhone then it's a function which is not supported and if it's Android I can't offer any help - but if you specify your phone model and version of Android you might get a better response from members in the know.

Thanks BillyJim.  Good point. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android version 6.0.1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My contact photos pull through from the phone itself. (Lumia Phone).

When I added my favourite contacts the photos automatically came from the phone ( Nexus 6P ) which I thought was quite neat.

I then decided to update the photos on my phone for better ones but the car photos didn't change ( suggesting the car stores them independently ).

If you then add the favourites again they were updated to the latest selected photo on the phone.

I've yet to have a contact with a photo ring me whilst in the car - so can't say whether the photo flashes up on screen when the phone rings.

As above, they just pull the contacts from the phone.. (android)
