Where do you keep your first aid kit?

Featured Replies

I've got mine laying on the boot but would like to keep it in a better place. I did read the owner's manual and can't manage to place the FAK since my boot storage boxes look different.

So, where have you placed yours?

I got one off a private seller but here's two links to a Skoda dealer selling them.

Make a daft offer, you never know?

Direct from the dealer.

You could always try your local Skoda dealer with the parts number too.

I have mine in my "goto" rucksack in the boot. The rucksack contains all sorts of "goodies" such as spare lamps, dayglo vest, fire extinguisher, very sharp knife .....

I keep mine in the left hand side tray in boot. It fits quite well.:)

If you are referring to the one on the bag it's 3T0 093 108.

Yep, that's it, wasn't very expensive either and fits well in the tray.

Pardon my ignorance but does the first aid kit came free with the car?

my new Fabia hasn't got one unless it's hidden somewhere...

I don't think it does, but the genuine first aid kit I purchased for mine was less than £10, so not huge bucks.

To be honest I was lucky to get a steering wheel let alone a first aid kit with my S spec Fabia:D

The first aid kit is designed to fit on the right hand side of the luggage compartment, there is an elasticated strap which is intended to hold it in place, this photo shows the location of mine in my 2015 Fabia hatch, for the estate version there is provision on the same side underneath the parcel shelf surround as shown in this exert from the owners handbook

That all depends on the type of first aid kit you have, I have one in a bag which has been through 3 cars and always goes in the same place which is under the boot floor.

Yes I understand if it is a non genuine one it maybe wouldn’t fit correctly, I was only referring to the genuine Škoda first aid kits as supplied with the vehicles in most other European countries where it is mandatory to carry a first aid kit, warning triangle, spare bulb kit etc.

Has anyone ever used their car first aid kit?

I can't ever remember using mine.

I suppose it's good practice to occasionally check use by dates.

I used it once, but that was when we had no plasters in the house... I should probably check those dates now you mention it.

I’ve never used mine, I know it expires in 2021, apart from that I’ve never even looked inside it.

Have a look Katie,when you're bored,it's terribly exciting

I will do Rick, although I will have to be pretty bored to do that, having said that counting the plasters, ointment and dressings in my first aid kit is typically the kind of sad pastime I would engage in, I really should get out more lol !.

Now there's a challenge! I'll check my first aid kit this weekend and see if it's interesting.:D
