I-pad mini, Data Sim card.......

Featured Replies

I have a Data only Sim Card in my i-pad mini. I'm on a month to month contract with 3, ( 4G ) 10g for £15. I don't use the i-pad very much so lots of data doesn't get used so I was wondering if you can you fit a Phone sim card in the i-pad and will it work. (Minuites/text/data sim ) as you can get some very good cheap deals. I think I use about 1 to 2 gig of data (4G) per month as I mainly use the i-pad on WiFi

Your thoughts please or any other idea's

Thanks

Should work..... or if you only have need for limited mobile data, could you just use your phone as a wifi hotspot (assuming you have sufficient data on the phone's sim)

Depending on your contract 3 will allow you to use up to 30Gb of your data allowance as a personal hot-spot.

Again depending on your contract you can use this data abroad at no extra cost via their Feel At Home.

I'm limited to a 2Gb hotspot limited as I signed my contract in April.

The increase to 30Gb came out in May!
