Light bleed on clocks

Hi im the pround new owner of an octavia vrs mk2 

But ive noticed really bad light bleed on clocks like if my indicator signal light is on it lights up all the warning lights on that side of the clocks same happens when any other light comes on it lights all the other warning lights up is there any way to fix this as its really bad at night..

Sounds like a shield or surround around the indicator LEDs has fallen off.  I haven't pulled the units apart so can't confirm 100% but it sounds like you are going to need to get the clocks out and partially disassemble.  There was a member on here who recently refurbed the tacho and speed needle leds,  I think he produced a guide and photos - that may be of some help.

 

Someone may read this and confirm 100% for you. BTW what year vehicle are we talking and is it pre FaceLift or FL?

Its a 2007 (57) pre fl
