Does anybody know where this noise is coming from? Driving me crazy. I installed new transmission and engine mount already and the noise is still there. 

 

It is only making the noise under load in the first gear or reverse gear at the point of take off. 

 

Any ideas?

I don't know what the noise actually is. Free bump up the list.

 

Are you able to listen with two people - one inducing and the other trying to identify source by listening above, beside, under engine (safely)?  Could it be internal to the engine or are you thinking definitely outside?  Did it do it before the transmission change?

 

If the noise is internal, a stephoscope may help.
