Featured Replies

As title dieselgeek first gear getter.

Its a CNC'd peice which fits into the selector to replace a worn or damaged bush. This will enable you to get first and 5th gear again.

Had to order this from America and pay the import tax. $25 dollars plus £12 charge.

I can post for £25 haven't seen anything like this for sale in the UK.

Fits the following years and models with five or six speed transmissions:

Am I right in saying this doesn't fit a mk1 fabia then?

  • Author

I'm not sure I wanted it for my mk2 and the design has changed diesel geek told me it would fit a 2008 Fabia but I needed something.

I can't get 5th if I put my foot down through 1st and 2nd thought it was the bush on the lever. But only 2008 and earlier cars have the bush.

So possibly will fit a mk1.

Il try find out today.

I'm sure it would fit mk1's possibly pre facelift mk2's too. I was checking part numbers before I bought it.

I took a risk didn't pay off though
