GreenDrive not available since VIM

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,

I recently asked to someone to add the VIM (Video in Motion) on my collumbus dvd player.

But since this option has been activated the greendrive doesn't work, I have the menu but the score is no more updated.

The graphic and the leaf is freeze see image in attachment.

I drove 200 km without any update of the score.

The guy has changed some speed values for the VIM with the VAG COM Pro and VIM Manager.

Do you think that he changed a speed value what could no update the green score ?

Any idea ?

Car: Skoda Superb 3 Style 1.6 TDI DSG.

Thanks in advance.

Just a thought but I wonder if the way to enable the VIM is to 'trick' the ECU into believing that the car is stationary? If so, then you can't travel any distance to get a Green Score?

That is how I understand how it operates or not the VIM.

I do not think that the VIM  is to 'trick' the ECU into believing that the car is stationary.

Because you only change the speed value when the movie must be hidden.

The guy has only changed some values from 10 km/h to 250 km/h.

But I don't see all values changed.

Here an example of the VIM :

Somebody have an experiment with the VIM manager ?

Because he has used this tool for the update.

Your help is so precious to me.

Thanks in advance

just change not to 250, but 199 ... that's the trick

don't touch ANY other values, only video speed limit

if not success, ask for help in this forum:

It's fixed.

For your information we have set the car menu speed limit and car meu speed hysterese to default value (15 & 10) in order to fix the issue.

The green score is again available :-)

Regards,
