Frustrating day today as my wife wanted one and i finally convinced myself i could live with the dark brown leather.

 

We had a tentative order in for an SEL drive but had decided to upgrade  today to the only slightly more expensive L& K. Dealer priced it up and went to confirm the zero percent finance quote and then came back to say the car quote could not go through as this model could no longer be ordered since last night.

Also now gone from configurator.

Rather frustrated to miss out by one day!

At least others are still available to order, despite rumours that the order books had closed pending the arrival of the Mk II.

 

S SEDrive and SE Drive still available so we have gone ahead with our SEL Drive.

Whilst at Silbury Skoda on Wednesday I was told that Skoda had stopped building the L&K.

It looks as if it's not possible to buy a 4x4 petrol Yeti now.

At least not until Mk11 comes along?

I don't think anyone should be surprised now at the gradual disappearance of model availability.  Hopefully my 1.4 L&K is now something that will be a rather desirable used car when I come to upgrade in a couple of years.

Looks like I will be getting one of the last ones built, been told today my 2lt 150 DSG L&K will arrive in four to six weeks.

And when they discover that a petrol engine also pollutes cos the Cat converter is not getting hot enough to burn off.

New power stations needed to charge up all the electric cars..

Cant get grass to feed the extra horses, they have built on all the available green belt.
