Columbus coding help needed

Featured Replies

Hi,I have just fitted the Columbus to my  06 octavia it was working fine but  had battery drain issue so i changed the can gateway , but i am still having the same issue . I tried to do  the coding myself but as i don't have any experience of how to do coding and now I am getting no sound from the speakers and the unit's fan is still running even when the keys are removed.please help. Thanks

Can you post a scan log of the car from before you changed the gateway, and also one from after?

I don't have a scan before i changed the gateway as i didn't scan . I could do the scan now even though i don't quite know how to do it. I could put the old one back and do a scan it if that helps.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, do an autoscan and once it's finished you have the option of saving the log. Do so, and make a note of where you save it and the name you give it (it'll be a text file which opens in Notepad), then copy the text from that log and paste it into a reply here.
