Recently p/x Honda NC 750X [plus cash] for Yamaha MT09 Tracer.....any other Skoda/Yamaha combination owners ? 

Fabiam will be along shortly as an MT09 owner.

what are your thoughts on the honda?

 

Its one of the bikes i have been thinking about after i get my test passed, the position, and the extra storage would be very usefull to me.

pros - Excellent fuel economy 80 MPG> storage locker, reasonable weather position, reasonable seat comfort, main beam adequate, dash informative.      cons- down on power 2 up,solo acceptable, centre/main stand not standard,single front disc brake. GO on the Honda NC Forum members are very helpful !!

Yeah ive got one! Bought it last september. About 2k miles on it now. Loving it tbh, does everything so well!

Whats the spec on yours then? Are you liking it? Thoughts compared to the nc? 

Now own a 700 Tracer & have some items for sale from the 2016 MT09 Tracer...inc a very comfortable Bagster seat !

What made you go down to the 700? 

I did originally want the 700 {owned a NC 750X then} but because NO centre/main stand was available ,so chose the MT09 Tracer instead. Moving on SW Mototec now do a centre/main stand , but still NOT Yamaha ! After another test ride decided the lower weight & "a more compact size" & NEVER going to use the engine to its full potential.....plus the free"winter pack" promotion decided a NEW 700 Tracer was going to be ordered .....& now delivered !!!! Just need the weather to improve to get the 1st service done A.S.A.P, so to answer your question....it should have been 12mths ago I should have owned a 700 instead of the 900 ! WELL up to what I need from a bike & still prefer than the NC 750X !

Tested a Tracer 900 GT.........price to change ..keeping the 700 & maybe Yamaha will bring out a 700 GT version ?
