Boot storage cubby

Featured Replies

I've been looking at some old threads about boot storage and thinking about grabbing some parts.

Has anyone purchased / considered the D-shaped storage cubby shown in this exploded diagram (item 12)?

I've seen on other threads most people went for the storage net (item 15).

I think you get them as standard on a Yeti:

I have 1 from my Fabia & it will NOT fit my Rapid, I am more interested in item 15...it seems on a Toledo they have plastic cover/pocket on both sides, MIGHT have visit a SEAT dealer & check availability / price !!

Likewise, we've got one for the Fabia Combi - we never use it.

I toyed with buying it for the Rapid, opted to get the net that fits in the same place (figure 15 in the OPs post). It's far more useful and I keep three large bottles in mine (fuel additive, quick detailer and a large bottle of water).

In our case, I really wanted the D-shaped thing (I guess it depends what you're stowing).

But TPS said it's unavailable - possibly planned / diagrammed but never actually produced.

I'm pretty sure it was/is produced. Suggest calling a dealer parts desk rather than TPS, as the competence of staff at the latter can vary quite wildly. Also, do you have the actual part number for it?

I got one for my Fabia for a fiver off my Skoda dealer but don't know if it fits the Rapid? I find it useful personally, especially for keeping bottles upright after a supermarket shop.

Part no.

That part is displayed in drawings but there is no part number as it was not produced.

I have the net and find it very useful.
