LED Bulbs VRS 230

Recommended Posts

This has been discussed recently...

Tl;Dr: Get the OEM LEDs (which include the enclosure) and re-code via VCDS/OBDlink to get rid of errors.

..."CANBUS" LEDS are not a good idea.

This. They are from a Skoda Rapid I believe and a search should get you the part number. They look like they were factory fitted, whereas for me, chinese LEDs in the original holders stand out as obviously aftermarket.

The part number for OEM is 3AF943021A I got them from hear:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00QKI6JOC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Or you can ask your dealer, mine wanted £24 ex VAT but so far they are proving to be expensive compared to others for some reason!

Then just get some one to code them in with VCDS, i did it today after work, was a 10 min job to fit and code. Plus if your with someone with VCDS then you can turn on a few other bits. The VCDS map will show you who is near you with VCDS.
