My favourite safety device in my Superb has stopped working. The orange warning lights have gone out in the side mirrors.  BUT I am getting the Same symbol now showing intermittently on the dash board alternating with the resettable trip counter for miles driven.

 

any idea of likely cause can't find anything in the handbook for the warning symbol in the dash if that is what it is.

Embarrassed since for hat ever reason the driving aids all got reset to,factory default setting so,blind spot was turned off along with rear proximity sensor . Sorry
