Kessy fault

Featured Replies

Any Kessy owners ever seen the error "Keyless Access System Fault"? I've attached an image of the error (taken with a blurry potato it seems).

Car has been working fine throughout the day, but when I went out to it, it showed the error. Ignition and engine started ok and after shutting everything down and locking it, it seemed to go away. Very odd, and wondered if anyone had seen similar?

Had it once, never returned.

175k km on the clock and never had it.

I've never seen this either after 3 years.

I would imagine it should have logged an error code though which the dealer might be able to investigate.

I do have a few problems with Kessy not working/key not recognised if I have two different car keys in my Pocket or if my phone is in the same Pocket as the key but its never given an error code only not opened the doors.

The immobiliser (ignition & starting) is separate from kessy functionality of the key, so even if kessy doesn't work, you should still be able to start the engine.
