Hi, I need to change a sidelight in my Scout. It's a 2010 facelift model. I've checked the handbook, and some youtube videos but this doesn't have the rubber/plastic cover where the main beam/sidelight is housed. It has a square metal cover. with electrical wires connected on the inside. The main beam appears to have a plastic retainer ring keeping it on that I can't remove. So I cannot get to the sidelight which is on a stalk - unless I guess I used long nose pliers.

 

Any advice on this? Changing a bulb used to be easy!  Any videos?

I presume I need to twist one way or the other or is it a simple pull out?
