Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!

Featured Replies

So I just bought a used Superb combi. It's a 2013 mkii facelift. Very nice except that the badges on the boot door are missing (I think it has had a minor repair to the boot lid).

The dealer has sent me the badges through the post so I can fit them myself. Not ideal but I'll have a shot. Only problem is that I don't know exactly where they should sit.

So, could any nice forum user with a similar car do me a huge favour and measure their own badge locations on the door as per the attached pics? I've added arrows to show the required dimensions and labelled them A through H.

Sorry to rock up with a daft request but would really appreciate the help.

Thanks,

No question is a daft question if you don't know the answer! :biggrin:

On my 2015 Facelift:

A=27mm

B=28mm

C=28mm

D=28mm

E=28mm

F=28mm

I'm not 4x4 so can't offer a value for 'G' & 'H'

Hi Colin,

            That is really helpful. Appreciate you checking that. Weather permitting I'll get the first two badges fitted tonight :)

If anyone else has a 4x4 version and could check those last to measurements I'd be very grateful.

Thanks,

Ivan

Personally, I prefer my cars to be de-bedged. Looks much cleaner, and is also easier to clean.

I know what you mean. I've gone back on forth on it a bit but I quite like how the badges look on the superb. I also don't clean my cars very often :)

Put the 4x4 badge on, leave the others off :thumbup:

Rebadged. Thanks again to Colin for the measurements.
