ATP replacement manifold (1.8T)

Featured Replies

hi all,

just spotted this on my search of local tuners. has anyone on here tired or heard about this bit of kit? reviews and opinions welcome :)

A lot of chat on clubSE, Robdon has one fitted and results were impressive.

Jim at Star was showing me one today - nice piece of kit. He'd like to try one on my Octy to see how far you can take a K03 :D :D

Would still need a BFOFMIC, though :(

any idea on fitting costs etc?

thanks mate, not even sure if it fit

Kenny.

If you fancy it, give Jim at Star a call, he'll soon tell you if it'd fit.

Be good to hear how it performs with a standard turbo as RobDon's results are impressive but maybe down to the K04 and the standard manifld being too restrictive for it.

Kenny I'm pretty sure they'll do one for the A4 as ATP tend to develop kit for the longitudinal engines first. This manifold is ideal to use with one of their eliminator garrett turbo kits which I've mentioned to you before.

yeah thanks eddy:thumbup: had a look on their website and seem to do one :)

had a look at the eliminator kits too, looks like good kits :) very tempting indeed, but wouldnt want to get FMIC and new clutch would be essential i guess :(

You maybe ok with the twin IC's and the clutch is down to how you drive.
