Hopefully in two weeks, when I find time, I'll be takin' my car to an exhaust factory near my place, where they will be removing the cat and fitting a pipe, and changing my back box :) Good for another 5 BHP  And big noise too, like Fabia 156..vroom vroooom...

Haha nice one! Hopefully my exhaust will turn up sometime this year..

I've decided to keep my car dude. I'm investing in the studio so getting a new car is on hold for a while. Besides, I've pretty much gotten everything changed under warranty, and my gearbox will be repaired in a week. Since warranty is almost over, I figure now is a good time to play with the exhaust :D

And thanks for listening to them dude, and thanks again for the positive feedback :D

Doing a similar thing in two weeks myself. Only they're removing every fitting in the entire system.... and not refitting them. ;)

Hey.. That sound very nice.. the exhause on my car gives a really nice sound..

but does it mean that my car got 5 Bhp extra than normal 1.4 16v's? :D

By the way, Heres a poor quality AMR sound clip recorded by mobile to show u how that exhaust sounds like

With that system you have you definitely have more power over standard, something over said amount :)

might not have actually gained power, but what it does gain is the ability to rev more freely.

we fitted a new manifold, decat and cat back system to my brothers focus and it doesn't seem to pull harder but revs a lot easier and faster.

but it does ultimately make the car faster.

Which...ultimately means the car has a little more power? You okay buddy?

faster doesn't mean it has more power.

have a race witha 600cc motor bike and see who wins, puny little things aren't that powerfull :P

Well.. :D thats coz it weight 10 times less than the car..

but if ur talking about the same weight and the car got faster.. thats means more power in someway for sure

Not necessarily! Power is the amount of work an engine can do so some mods will just allow you to reach this maximum point quicker (eg if you replace the gearbox with a close ratio one, you don't change the power, but the car will be quicker....)

:D

Chris

Well... u got me there lol...

but who cares anyways.. we jus want teh car to be faster so thats power somehow lol
