Car Leasing

Featured Replies

My wife runs a 1.6 diesel DS3 Prestige model with sat nav, smart alloys, xenon headlights, alcantara sports seats, upgraded sound system on a 3+47 personal lease deal with 10k miles per year.  It's a nice little car with a load of standard extras for £142 a month and £426 up front with 3 years warranty/roadside repair and road tax.

It was supplied in October last year, but now when I look at the same car from the same broker it comes in at £209 a month, which would mean a slightly bigger deposit but a staggering £3149 more  over the same term. The point is prices do move around so if you are interested in leasing you need to keep tabs on them and pitch in when you think they are low.

Incidentally when I spoke to a local Citroen dealer at the time the cheapest deal he could do was a DS3 Chic (base) model at £165 a month, we didn't even talk about deposits but I'm pretty sure he would have wanted a substantial one.  He then promptly told me it couldn't be bettered anywhere in the UK!
