New 18" wheels fitted on superb greenline

Featured Replies

Finally got my Cades Zeus 18" rims fitted today , had to go for 3mm wheel spacers due to centre cap popping off when wheel bolts tightened , all good now and was well impressed with ride coming back from garage as I had tracking checked also.

purchased via stanced.co.uk , they were very helpful and gave me a great deal on wheel tyre package .

rear wheels are slightly deeper dish to give me the look I was after .

Well 5 days on since fitting and I have to say the ride is so much better than I was expecting , heard so many horror stories ref going to larger diameter wheels , but it rides lovely and not losing any fillings even on the Isle of Wight roads!

running 30psi in fronts and 31psi in rears , has any got any feedback on pressures they run on 225/40/18 ?

Wheel aren't to my taste I'm afraid.

I ran 34 from and 36 rr when I had a twindoor. That was with F1A2 which has a soft sidewall

I run my 18" Thermistos at 36psi.

Yes, running 36-38psi in my 225/40/18s too. The stock pressures are way too low IMO. I'm keeping an eye on wear and nothing unusual after 10,000kms.

thanks for feedback guys, maybe that is why mine feel so comfortable as pressures are to low ? , will try putting them up as you are running and see if it affects the ride .
