Sadly I've lost all forward motion...

Have one machine whos power block went bang, awaiting a new one.

Another is sat on the bios just taunting me to go nutz.

Another is a kettle lead short of a usefull machine. PIII 700 server :(

And then the last bastion is in use and presently running a 1.6Gb page file so I need every ounce of juice I can get.

The inner sanctum is not reprting as some bright spark rebuilt the firewall so I can't remote desktop in to re connet the vpn out to me so it can talk to the world via home :)

So in short I'm fubar'd for folding this week...

...till next week ;)

Well, I'm FUBARd currently due to a lacking AMD 64 3500.... Should be running tonight or Weds though, all being well. Should get me back into 200PPD+ territory again. :D

But like I always say - every little machine helps. Even the smallest PC doing one work unit a week helps us all along. I got our dear Loz going on it last night, after about a 30 minute tutorial on MSN. :D

Finally looks like the bigger wu's are starting to come through for my 16 machines now - should be interesting next few days, if this carries on as it is doing...

Last 3 wu's completed have had points scores min 151 + - which is a lot better than the usual tat they have been doing over last couple weeks :D

Oh and am just about to get a computer upgrade from a 2.4gig P4 to a 3.2Gig, not tremendous but i guess it all helps

Reminds me of tutoring Loz through FAH installation last night. I asked her what chip it had and she said it was an XP2200+. She couldn't understand my amazement that I was on exactly the same chip in my PC as well. Women, eh? Just don't understand men and computers. :P :D

Oi - take that back!! Some of us DO understand you know (ok, maybe not men, but what's to understand there? ;) ) :P

To get back on topic... I'm pleased to report my 2 latest WUs are over 150 points each as well - looks like some of the bigger WUs are coming through now.... the last 40 odd WUs only got me 2200 points....... which is pretty crapola really!

Not THAT unfathomable:

WOMAN'S DIARY:

Tuesday 24th January 2006

Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so thought it might be that.

The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go Somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat.

All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly Laughed and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong.

He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated but followed. I asked him again if there was Something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on.

After about 10 minutes of Silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love.

He still seemed Distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me and that he had found someone else.

I cried myself to sleep.
