Problems with topping up vRS with VW505.00 oil?

Away from home the other day noticed my oil was low, did not have the owner's manual on me so rang my dealer to check which oil I should use. They said I should use 5W-40. Managed to get some from Halfords, but it was VW505.00 spec.

Just got back and noticed that I should have used VW 505.01. Am I going to experience any problems? I only put about 0.5 litres in.
