Skoda Fabia vRS mk2 Loweirng spring

Featured Replies

Hey guys first post and new to the group hoping you could help me. I've had my fabia a couple of weeks and was hoping to put it on lowering springs however after looking at comparison photos I'm not 100% that it already hasn't been lowered, hoping you guys might be able to shed some light on the subject! TIA

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe take the wheels off front and back and post a picture of the springs that are fitted.

Maybe worth posting in the Mk2 Fabia section on Mk2 questions.

Mines sat on eibach pro springs and looks a similar height.

looks lowered to me! I had an estate on H&R springs and it sat like that.

Nice I'll take the wheels off and see what springs it's sat on but I think the last owner has saved me a few quid:rock:

The front looks OK but if the backs been done there I'd be asking for me money back.     :)

The backs always higher as it's an estate and needs to take more load I think

Exactly. Well not exactly as in look at the Max Gross weights, but there can be more load behind the rear wheels of an estate as more load area.

& that gangsta stance is why the 9 3/4" longer and heavier as standard estate (once the hatch has the 25kg success ballast removed) gets better traction and handling than a Hatch.

Mine side on for reference.

Not putting money on it but I'll bet they are on H&R. If they are H&R they will be dark blue

this is mine on h&r

That looks very nice! Just checked the springs and they'r eibach which I believe aren't standard so I'm sure it's been lowered previous to my ownership! Thanks for all the help guys!

What els have people fitted? Seen plenty with H&R's but I'm more wanting the eibach since they are OEM and come in a wider range of drops.

Anyone also using spacers, if so what size?

I'm going for 10-15mm on the rear but not really considered fronts yet

Eibachs.
