2 Move and Fun questions

Featured Replies

I used the Discount booklet that came with my satnav to download the speed camera warnings, but unless I can figure this out, am regretting it! Now listening to my mp3's is constantly being interrupted by Stephen Toast saying "Watch Your Speed!". What's more, I can't work out whether he's pausing them or talking over them. I thought to use the little loudspeaker icon to shut him up, but that's greyed out. I don't mind the screen showing them, but I'd like the option to listen to my mp3s without interruption - can anyone tell me if that's possible and how?

Also, I tend to listen to 1/2 or 1 hour recorded radio programmes, each of which is a 'track' as far as the Move and Fun is concerned. So is there a fast forward/rewind? And will it always start paying where I left off if the end of a trip interrupts a programme?

I suppose that's three questions. :)

With regard your first two questions...... The "Watch your speed" warning is the audible warning that you are approaching a safety camera site. The audible alert can indeed be disabled via the settings on the unit. This can be found under.......  Navigation-> More functions-> Settings-> Navigation-> Warn of safety cameras..... Then tap the box with three horizontal lines in it and you can then select what you want audible warnings for including "Do not warn"

When the voice says "watch your speed" the volume of the radio or mp3 that you are listening to is lowered slightly then goes back up to its previous level once the announcement has finished.

With regard to your third question..... To fast forward through a track you just do the same as a lot of other mp3 or CD players and keep hold of the forward button either on the screen of the PID or on the HU. As you keep hold of the button the track will be skipped through at a faster speed. To skip backwards through the track just press and hold the back button on the PID screen or on the HU.
