Hello VRS lovers. Mine - in silver with Xenon and sunroof - arrived, new, in April 2005. 11,000 miles later I'm more and more impressed. I've had experience of some seriously quick and expensive vehicles in the past (e.g. BMW M5, TVR Griffith) but I enjoy the Fabia as much as any of them. As well built as the BM, maybe not quite as scary as the Griffith! ... but as a day-to-day ownership proposition, the Fabia is unbeatable. 3,000 miles across France, Switzerland and Italy last summer proved its long-distance mile-eating capability, as well as the efficiency of the air con. An excellent motorway car, but fun on the twisty bits too thanks to well weighted steering and a good ride/handling compromise. Other likes: understated looks, serious overtaking capability, 46-50 mpg, comfortable seats. Dislikes: tacky silver bits on the dials, the glovebox lid looks cheap, tinny clang when you shut the tailgate. Overall: what a car,what a bargain.

Glad you like it! I certainly still enjoy mine, after 16 months, which is very unusual for me!
