I had my VRS serviced a few weeks ago. Everything seemed to be ok, but i have noticed now that, after a journey, there is a oil around the filler cap and in the rubber "ring" that catches oil whenever you spill it (the aperture in the engine cover).It's almost as if the filler cap hasn't been replaced properly but If i wipe the cap and the "ring" the oil comes back again.

Car is running very well at the moment but i wonder if this is a symptom of anything?

Its quite common, more so around the lower seal that goes between the filler and the cam cover.

A new cap may well kerb the sweating, pop in to see your local dealer.
