Quick noob question

Featured Replies

Hi.  Not yet purchased an Octavia VRS but that should change today/tomorrow.

Quick question, how can I tell which infotainment system I have? And how can you tell if it's a MY16?

I've attached a picture of the interior, not sure if you'd be able to tell from that?

Cheers, Ryan.

You'll need a picture from a different angle showing the right hand buttons. If the top right one says "nav" it has navigation, if it says setup then it's a Bolero (no navigation). If it has the larger screen then it's a Columbus unit (think the bottom of the screen ends below the 2 rotary dials), so that looks like a MIB2 Bolero or Amundsen.

Looks like a pretty well specced car though; DSG, Leather, Canton etc.

Pretty sure that is Columbus from the size of the screen.

I think it's columbus but...

If there is Hdd then is columbus.

Press medi button. If you can choose jukebox then is Columbus.

It's Amundsen MIB II not Columbus!

Amundsen mib2

Wasn't a bad guess from the other picture :tongueout:

It's definitely Amundsen but i'm not sure its a MIB2.

I've just checked mine and the display should look crisper and the text a bit smaller due to the different screen resolution.

I could be wrong though.

Apparently it has smartlink. Was that available before MIB2?
