Apparently my shocks are very slightly leaking. I have 90k + (kms) on my car. Is this the normal period of time for my shocks to start playing with my wallet?

Depends on what your local roads are like and how much rallying you've been doing!

You'd be surprised how much damping would probably be lost by that mileage anyway, so now's the time for some nice uprated gas shocks and marvel at the improvement!
