Rear wiper stopped working on estate

Featured Replies

Hi guys,. My car is about ten months old. I have always set the rear wiper to operate automatically from the infotainment menu. Just realised the rear wiper arm stopped moving when I push the stalk to rear wiping mode yesterday.

I tried rear washer jet and the soapy water comes out but the wiper doesn't move.

How do I check if it is a fuse problem or the motor is totally gone? Thanks

I think there is a known issue with the rear wiper i dont know if its related. My rear wiper made strange noises as if it were about to fail. Dealer replaced it under warranty.

If yours  it worked fine prior to it not working i would think it could be electrical.
