Got a minor but annoying fault on my PD100 fabia - wondered if anyone had experienced it or could suggest what the problem could be.

If I leave the car for more than 4 hours or so, the combined mpg and total mileage recording functions on the trip computer reset themselves (as if I had pressed the reset button on the stalk). I have made sure the reset button isn't sticking but don't what to do next. Any help or suggestions much appreciated.

Not sure about your car but mine has 2 sets of readings. one resets after a couple of hours. you switch between them using the button under the stalk. just a thought.

Trip 1 resets, trip 2 doesn't.

Use the under stalk button to switch between em.

Thanks for the replies. The problem is trip 2 is resetting automatically (the manual states this can only be reset by pressing the 'reset' button on the stalk for at least 1 second). Any more ideas welcomed!
