I have downloaded station logos and copied them to an SD card.  The card is recognised by the Infotainment system and I have checked 'Auto-save station logos' but when I save a station to a preset it does not assign the logo.  The only way I can assign the logo is to do so manually which takes ages and is impractical.

 

Am I missing something? Should I somehow be copying the logos from the SD card to the Infotainment system before trying to assign them automatically?  If so how do I do that - there are no instructions for that process.

Spelling error

You have to apply them manually unless they are transmitted Over The Air (OTA). If you assign the BBC World Service to a preset you will see that the logo appears automatically as that seems to be the only BBC station that transmits an OTA logo. Assigning them manually is tedious but is a once only thing so it's not really impractical.

Yep as above it's a manual process unfortunately. I only ever listen to about 6 different stations so did those and left the rest.

Thanks, and yes I understand it's a one off job but is very tedious. So what's the difference between the autosave and manual options? Not much by the look of it?

Can also get them via the Skoda Update portal, but you need to enter your VIN first.

Can anyone provide some info on this thread. On the Columbus 8 that I have in my superb 3 it will only let you add the logos in the preset screen as far as i can see which means you can only have 18 logos max. Or am I missing something? Also, the logo that is in the preset screen doesn't also transfer to the Station Info screen - anyone know why??

Apologies but I meant to say that the Logo doesn't always transfer to the Station Info screen from the preset screen. 

Every station I tune to seems to have a logo. I assumed they were broadcast somehow? Bolero.
