Rear driver side air vent repair costs?

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

Just got finished moving a recliner chair for my step father.

As there was stuff in the boot and it looked small enough, put it on the back seat.

Only now I've realised it dislodged one of the horizontal airvent fins (which went back into place no drama), however the driver side rear airvent took a little more battering than first thought and the slider 'thing' that moves the two vertical fins left and right has broken off, looks to of snapped on two little tabs, plus I don't want to use too much force trying to remove the horizontal fins in case I brake anything else.

How easy is this to repair and/or how much to have it done by Skoda?

It's already plaguing on my mind and it's only been one hour since it happened.

Please someone tell me it's a very cheap fix and Skoda would be happy to do it without having to leave the car with them for several hours.

I want, NEED happy news on this. PLEASE!!!!!

This might be of help (?):

Thanks. I posted on there. I couldn't find it when I use the forum search engine but it came up quite high when I did a Google search.

Thanks though.
