My boot floor has a sticker warning not to jack on the rear axle. I have axle stands and crocodile jack. I want to raise the back end to remove the bumper. Anyone know where it's OK to jack and place the axle stands?

I could use the manufacturer supplied jack one side at a time but where to place axle stands if I do that?

The jacking points on VW group cars are quite long so you might actually be able to get the jack and the stand on the same point. It should be handier with the slim jacks like ones supplied with the vehicle.

 

Failing that, get a hold of a pair of ramps if you don't need the wheels to be hanging.
