Do all Mk2 vRS have an Aux Socket?

Featured Replies

Do all Mk2 vRS come with an Aux socket or does this depend on the spec of head unit/age of car?

I've seen that the Blackline has the aux socket on the head unit whilst other models have it in the jumbo box. I've also read about them being retrofitted however this may not have been a vRS.

Thanks

My Mk2 FL has it in the jumbo box.

Some very early pre-FL vRS's that were not equipped with the jumbo box (part of a cost option that also included rear electric windows and 18" alloys) did not have the AUX-in.

The reason the Blackline has it on the headunit is because it was a limited run special edition with the Amundsen sat-nav system...

Thanks for the replies.

Many of the adverts I've seen haven't listed the AUX port hence my query.

My 57 plate has it in the Jumbo(thickest name ever) Box, with 'Steam MP3' head unit being the one fitted to car.
