Skoda Fabia VRS MK1Faulty Recirculation

Featured Replies

Hello

My recirculation button on my MK1 Skoda Fabia VRS has started to stop working.

It comes on when I press the button, but then goes off by itself after less than 30 seconds.

It blows out warm and cold air and the air con works as it should. However it's just my Recirculation button that doesn't seem to stay on like it used too

Has anyone had this problem before and got a solution?

Welcome to the forum. :)

More mk1 Fabias will be running around with this fault than without, by now.  It's awkward and moderately expensive to fix, and as long as it defaults to the fresh air position rather than recirc, it's not really worth fixing, unless you drive past a pig farm regularly.

If you search 'recirculation' in this (mk1 Fabia) forum, you'll find abundant discussion.
