Hello, this is  dificult to ask but can anyone with bolero unit (8 icnh display) remove the display and confirm the part reference please.

Is this from a real bolero ?

 

Because bolero( 8 inch) must have a diferent partnumber from columbus or amundsen 8 icnh , buttons are diferent ,bolero has setup button and sound , columbus has nav and traffic so they must be diferent.

 

I want to swap just display but i need the correct pn.

 

 

In the past i tought that it was 3v0919606 with diferent letters but i was wrong if you search in octavia or other the part number is always the same  just changing the final letter

 

3v0919606 - its for columbus

3v0919605- bolero

 

Any cnhange they do they change the last letter 3v0919605b or 3v0919605c...d...e

 

So the reference must be 3v0919605 with + some other  letter maybe c or d.

so sad, in China 3v0919606 is the only 8 inch screen used in superb MKIII.

Well, the unit for MQB platform truely can be used on superb, it has been verified by the Chinese superb owner, but there is still no proper plastic panel for the screen to be installed on superb, additionally, the media functions on the steering wheel run out.

OK, . May I ask why you want to find 3v0919606B?

Because my car is my2016 the bolero  for this year has 6 inch screen.  Bolero in MY2017 has a 8 inch screen size everything else is the same as mine. I just want o to replace the screen, the unit in the glove compartment stays the same.

3v0919606B is the display for systems that don´t have navigation like culombus or amundsen.

Think i was wrong they sell only the display the correct reference is 3V0919606BYY and the price is 900€ very cheap lol.

I am on the same page with you. I am also trying to find 8" bolero to replace it but I couldn't so far. I don't know why.

 

ps. I have also tried to install passat's 8" screen, it was working with no issue. As you mention there are funtional differences.

 

Hope we can find it.

They are made in hungary but where exactly.

It looks very shiny.

I am still looking to find this 8" panel. There is in some internet store but their price is very high. (~1200 €, just panel)

I still prefer the old one to. Been searching forever witht succec, i know i can by from dealer but just for 1 display it´s just too much.

I really don´t understand the OEM prices for infoteinment system .

Searching in bing i found the back of the correct screen (Car  equipment), the red arrows point to the diferences .

For octavia its easy to find but for superb there is no shop that sells them.

Octavia owners are very lucky. There are lots of buying choice in internet.

I think because of sales figures of Octavia.
