Came across www.datechs.co.uk - based in Bolton, but offer a mobile service with proper equipment - lathe etc.

 

I have not used, or have any experience of, or links to, the company, I just noticed their post on LinkedIn and thought it was of interest.

 

Hope it helps ease somebody's pain :)

Removed irrelevant content due to mods moving post. I did want it to stay in MK3 Octavia section as nearly all have DC alloys...
