Air intake duct cover

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just recently had the small air intake duct cover mysteriously go missing and I am looking to replace it.

If anyone has one or knows where I can obtain one, please let me know. Have been looking at local breakers with no luck, as well as ebay, but still nothing.

Many thanks

Maybe fallen into the undertray?  I think wreckers and dealer will probably try and sell you the whole intake tube and bits and pieces....

Just looked at the part number on mine and found 1k0805965, have done an ebay search and found this Ebay Link.

Hope this helps.

result....

Hi guys, thanks for that. I checked the link but the cover seems a different shape. The one i need is at the front and is flattish with one end being flta and the other at an angle. One clip either end.

Gonna try see if I can find it otherwise I think its off to the breakers.

Could do with better condition engine cover, as mine was cracked when I bought car, so will look for whole set.

Thanks for everyones help so far.

In the meantime, if anyone has one for sale, please let me know

Thanks again:biggrin:

Hey guys

Resurfacing an old post but I'm looking for this part too.

I tried the one Extreme3d linked to but it doesn't fit. Is there a favourite supplier people use for stuff like this or will I just have to ring round breakers?

I can pretty much guarantee that parts like that will usually be significantly cheaper from TPS than an Ebay seller, they are just hoping you wont check.

The exception is OE parts made in China for the local market and sold on Ali-Express and E-bay, they can often be a real bargain.
