Coolant hose ID and ESP fault

Featured Replies

Morning guys,

Came out to the car this morning and had the low coolant warning! Turns out there's a pin hole in one of the hoses but I don't know which hose I need to order as a replacement. Could anyone let me know a name or part number for it? (Pic attached, I can see where the hole is)

I also replaced the Alternator last week and since then the ESP light comes on after 10 minutes of the engine being on. Always 10 minutes, it I switch of and on straight away the light is off for 10 minutes...then back again. Looking on a Fabia page this seems a common fault and relates to a broken wire somewhere but I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere for which wire it is....or where it would be on the Octavia if that's actually the issue...has anyone had this issue and resolved it? It's a BXE engine if that makes any difference...

Thanks in advance!!

Not sure which hose that is but the following diagrams might help identify it:

As for the ESP fault, it's probably worth having an autoscan done using VCDS to see what the fault is. That'll then give you a better idea of where to look :)
