Goodbye MKII FL. Hello MKIII FL

Featured Replies

I would be tempted to drop the cornering fogs, and have a word with someone with VCDS. They should be able to enable it for you when you get the car.

Small saving but it all counts.

Similar spec to my '16 reg SEL. Should be a nice car,I like the SEL. If you've not had one before....you'll never buy a car without a heated windscreen again! I love mine, especially at 3.30am on a winters morning! Congrats on your purchase. If you're anything like me,the wait will drive you mad lol. Longest 8 weeks of my life!!

I was very impressed by the DSG. Smooth power delivery and a world away from my previous experiences with normal automatics. As well as the heated windscreen, looking forward to having a warm butt in the winter...

Yes dsg is brilliant. I swapped my 14 plate Elegance for the DSG SEL after an ankle injury, and I absolutely love it. I'd never go back to a manual now. Heated seats are great too, come winter, just jump in,press a few buttons and wait to defrost while you keep nice and warm:) cruise control is great too, wouldn't be without that either. Have a good play about with the settings on the 'infotainment' system, you'll be surprised what you can switch on and off and alter to your preference,i.e. Coming home lights, alarm bleep, auto fold door mirrors etc. SEL in my opinion is the best spec, plenty of toys and nice trim too.

Gotta admit the SE L has a lotta toys & is probably where buying with your head will lead you certainly, did for me & I've enjoyed my little TSI Elegance with DSG.

Having say that, I'm buying the next one with my heart

A nice selection of toys but decided against some of the other options such as Park Assist. Blind spot detection and ACC. Looking forward to giving the Amundsen with Apple CarPlay a good workout.
