Hi all, anyone know if there is a guide to removing the front bumper on a 2017 Scout? I have the generic one but lots of the sections are different around the foglights etc

The fixing points will be the same though.

 

The foglights and different 'Scout' trim is all part of the bumper.

 

I understand there are fixings in the wheel arches, under the lower leading edge of the bumper and under the front grill.

Well tried and failed to remove the bumper last week, got to be the dumbest design ever, why they couldn't make the centre grille separate so that and the lights could come out with the rest of the bumper still 'in-situ' is frankly ridiculous.

 

The two small torx screws inside the wings behind the wheel arch liners are the ones that caused me the issue as I wanted to try and avoid having to take the wheels off and the arch liners out due to the considerable extra time and effort this adds on a driveway with no ramp!. However you just cannot get to them, so another attempt this week where the whole lot needs to be stripped :-(
