Under seat umbrella

Was a bit dissapointed to find this when was hoping for a storage drawer!

Yes - a storage drawer would have been far more useful than the flip-down umbrella box.

 

Anyone know if a storage drawer can be retro-fitted?

+1 Also surprised that my FL yeti didnt have the storage drawer fitted to previous version.

Used to keep sun creams , first Aid things etc in it.

Don't see reason why not (unless electric seat)as they are made to fit under  both the seats,ive got them under both seats ,very handy.

I think you will have to remove the umbrella holder first, but can't see there being any problems after that.

The umbrella is so small its nearly only fit for a child. I kept the one from my 55 reg superb and it is in the boot together with a large golfing type which I normally use.

As above the drawer would be more useful and I may retrofit one.

Well they've tried a high Vis holder now an umbrella holder when an under draw can forfill both these items and more

There is a high vis holder under my electric drivers seat.

I understand this seat can't take a drawer anyway and I have a vest in the holder.

logic is if I have one it won't be needed as was the case on last car.
