Android Auto playing Music

Anyone had this ? Worked great for ages ... Using Amazon Prime Music full fat version. I press the steering wheel button and request a song and it plays fine but that's it then ! No matter what I ask it to play after it just says cant find the song or some such error.

 

Tried saying please, swearing at it etc... No difference ...

Yes, I have this.. i get a lot of no songs found when i know for a fact they are there... plus confirmation that Google speech to text has heard correctly as it repeats it back.

 

Sometimes it does work and says its found the track, but it returns a completely different track with no ref to track you asked which it repeated !

 

I think its a Amazon app issue.. as sometimes my playlists dont show too.

 

On a side note, i have been listening to Tunein radio and another radio app for internet radio which is good. (listen to some of the american ones)

Not used Amazon Prime Music so cannot comment  I have found that using Google Play Music , when turned on Andriod Auto will display the last track you were listening to. I have no idea why it won't auto play and when  you hit the play icon it rarely plays. Skipping to the next track sorts everything out.

 

Interestingly this does't occur when using Spotify, but again it does not auto play at boot up...

 

As there an option I am missing somewhere ?....
