wtf is a refit,is it a fix/fail or what.?

In this case it's likely to be a catch-all term for any remedial work needed to bring the affected vehicles up to the relevant emissions standard. Some vehicles will be done with just a software update, others may need hardware.

Exactly the same as 'The Fix', and some Journals were told of a 'Tweak',  because obviously Prestige VW Brands like Audi & Porsche can not just get 'The Fix'.

I see reports that the German Government will De-Register Vehicles that do not get 'The Fix',  so that will include those not getting the VW Refit / Tweak / New Engine Management & hardware for some, 

ie no longer illegally fitted with a Defeat Device that VW swear strike me down dead if i tell a lie. never were illegal in the EU....

George, what do Seat or Skoda call it . Service enhanced upgrade /update / software tweak

The Fix i beleive,  

and i see some news & media articles in the past weeks have forgot to mention SEAT TDI's in the VW Group scandal. 

 

As for Skoda UK and the current situation on how many affected vehicles have been done and how many complaints since, 

that would be nice to know.  

Might come out in the wash soon when the Government / Transport Select Committee get their act back together.
