Does anybody had this problem....?????

On my front lights top coat  cracked.....if you look from side you can see (on the picture) very cracked surface,if you scrach with fingernail you can touch little scraches.

On one light top coat start falling off...little pieces.

So....car did t see  automatic car wash.....wasn t damaged .....was washed on hands with care.

Car has factory fited xenon.

Car is 3.5 years old...so is one of the first manufactured

One cause is loss of the protective coating due to chemicals/abrasion/poor original coating then UV starts to deteriorate the plastic.

Very common here due to high summer temperatures & very high UV.
