Columbus nav, laggy?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, so ive retrofitted a Columbus unit and all works fine, but when im driving and have the map open the icon for your cars location is always delayed by about 10-15 meteres of me passing a turn off etc. Also the icon isnt smooth as its following the road it sort of wiggles around if you no what i mean. the gps antenna has been moved around with the same effect. the gps locator tells me i have a 3d fix and can usually see around 6-9 satellites out of 12/10. It's currently not been coded at all just popped it in so far. Would an oem sharkfin aerial fix this problem? I do already have one fitted from standard but have no idea if its the correct one  (Bluetooth fitted as standard) Thanks guys.

Needs coding. The unit needs to communicate with the car to work properly.
