Hi! I read in another thread here that the boot light is a nice power supply for the camera. I have removed the back lid trim, and run one wire from the boot and into the lid. But I didn`t run a ground wire. I suppose there is a ground connection somewhere inside the lid somewhere that will work with the camera?

I used the wiper motor chassis as ground, and the boot light as power source. Works well, except that the camera has 4 small leds that is lit as long as the boot light is on. This is several minutes. So I will use a relay that is triggered by the reversing light to turn off power to the camera when not needed.
