Greetings... hoping to get some advice please!

 

Mrs drives a 2014 Yeti S TDi (face lift)... one of the DRLs (non-LED) has gone so...

 

1) What Halogen bulb do I need to buy? Looked on Halfords website and can't see DRLs anywhere - are these also called side-lights!?

 

2) Any good / legal alternatives to standard DRLs which will give a white / LED type light? Not keen on conversion kits etc... just straight-fwd bulb for bulb. 

 

3) Any link to a "how to change the bulb" guide / video ?

Some, if not all the bulbs like headlight, fog & DLR are tricky to install for the owner and enthusiast as it involves taking off the front valance and bumper assembly to facilitate access for the change to be accomplished.

 

I would recommend not doing this unless your happy paying the high labour costs involved.

Read the comments to this video, as the tips to 'wriggle' instead of rotating the bulb holder or to jsut gently pull the wires to the bulb, helped.
