I'm off on my travels tomorrow to look at a lovely Octavia that has caught my attention.

 

I'm hoping that it's as good as the seller says it is!

Well it's an 09 pre-facelift CR170 VRS.

 

For the price and it's age it's pretty decent, totally fit for purpose.

 

 

Looks nice.  Do we take it you have bought it?

Haha yeah, I've made the purchase!

 

I'm impressed so far, handles well, decent enough go and the best bit is the 45mpg avg on the way home!

 

It's had the gearbox oil done and a recent cambelt so I'm happy.

 

Previous owner has obviously been a large person, the bolster has taken a beating and the door card is wrinkled where his/her massive elbow has been stationed!

 

If I feel the need I'll find a seat and door card, it's the only thing that lets the interior down.

So 6 months gone and 5k under the Octavias belt I think it's remap time!

 

Thinking of using P-Torque in Wolverhampton, they did an ace job on my old 123d like.
